Terms of Service

The service

FairGame is a platform for planning and running sports tournaments — including scheduling, registrations, groups, standings, knockout brackets and live results. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the service.

Accounts

To use parts of the service you need an account. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login details secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Free and paid plans

Your first tournament is free, giving you access to the full platform for a single event. Additional tournaments and advanced features may require a paid plan once those plans are available. We will make any pricing clear before you commit to it, and you will never be charged without your agreement.

Acceptable use

When using FairGame, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful or harmful.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Misuse other people's personal data entered into the platform.

Your content and data

You retain ownership of the tournament data and content you put into FairGame. You grant us the permissions needed to host and process that content so we can provide the service, including displaying public tournament results. You are responsible for having the right to use any data you enter, including personal data about participants. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The FairGame platform, including its software, design and trademarks, belongs to FairGame ehf and is protected by law. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond using the service as intended.

Availability

We work to keep FairGame available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FairGame ehf is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using FairGame at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or if necessary to protect the service or other users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Icelandic courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
